Astor MY-100 Pod:

The New MY-100, EW pod is a modified subsonic Target Tow pod originally made by bülow Air Target Systems AB. By using the design of a TT pod with variable center of gravity and weight we gain a robust construction with easy accessibility through hatches at the side and under the pod.

  • Certified as TT pod on L-39 zo, G-91 and Casa-101.
  • Astor III Techniques Generator can be placed in the pod.
  • Total Weight: Below 60 kg.
  • Dimensions: 235 x 30 x 30 cm.
  • Fore and Aft and/or omnidirectional radiation with adjustable antenna polarization.
  • 100 or 200 W Gallium Nitride Power Amplifier for C/D, E/F- or com-band.

Pod mounted dual TWT's for Astor III.
  • Freq. range: G - J.
  • TWT: G - I/J band ≈ 600 W, J-band ≈ 350 W
  • ERP: Wide lobe antennas 1+ kW, High gain antennas 10+ kW
  • Ant. Coverage 2 x 100° x 40° (8 dB). Fwd high gain 20° x 10° (20dB)
